The left edge of the screen is a rail of sections. The ≡ menu in the top corner holds settings like Wi-Fi, volume, phone pairing and apps.

What you still have open, taken only from your own words. Tap one to mark it done or drop it.

The resting face
After a few quiet minutes the screen settles into a low-light face: the orb, the time and one line about how things are ("All quiet.", "One thing is still open."). That line comes only from what the device already knows about itself. It's never a guess and never a model call. Touch the screen to wake it.
Restarts and updates
When the device restarts, resets or installs an update, it covers the technical shutdown with its own screen and a plain message such as "Restarting…" or "Installing an update — keep me connected to power." The message always matches what's actually happening. If something can't finish, the screen tells you rather than pretending.
Apps and the desktop
≡ → Apps opens Files, Text Editor, LibreOffice, a browser and a Terminal in their own windows, as your own account. ≡ → Exit to desktop leaves the assistant, and a double-tap on PHNTM One brings it back.
