A private AI assistant for the family desk

Tap the mic or press Alt+M for a local voice conversation. Manual Talk stops on silence, another tap, or after 15 seconds. Optional local wake detection is a separate setting, off by default.

How families use it

• Stored one-off and recurring reminders, one-off or recurring: "every Monday, water the plants".
• A shared memory for the household: "remember the Wi-Fi password for the guest network is on the fridge", and later, "what did we decide about the summer trip?"
• Chat from your phone anywhere in the house, with no app to install. Scan the code on the screen once.
• Planned · not release-verified Planned 1.0 capability, not yet release-verified: several named kitchen timers with on-screen countdowns and completion sounds. Restart timing has not been established.
• Documented · local Notes is available on the current device. Shopping-list packages use the local skills framework; a preinstalled pack of shopping, to-do and everyday tools remains planned 1.0 scope, not yet release-verified.
• Planned · not release-verified Planned 1.0 Home Assistant capability, not yet release-verified: control selected lights, plugs, switches, scenes and thermostats through the hub you already run.
• A spoken morning briefing at the configured time, drawing on available reminders and device records.

Honest limits

It is not a music streaming speaker. Home Assistant is a planned 1.0 integration, not yet release-verified; it would use your existing hub. It doesn't hear you across a noisy room the way a far-field speaker does. It's one device on one desk, and answers take a beat: a short one usually takes tens of seconds.
