PHNTM ONE — MEDIA BRIEF Updated October 20, 2026 (software 0.9.0) ONE LINE PHNTM One is a $799 Raspberry Pi 5 touchscreen appliance for local chat, memory, Notes, voice and questions about your own documents. SHORT DESCRIPTION Built by Jacob DeCamp at DeCampLabs, PHNTM One combines a Raspberry Pi 5 with 8 GB RAM, 256 GB NVMe M.2 SSD and a 10.1-inch 1920×1200 touchscreen. In Private mode, chat, memory search, transcription and speech run on-device. Notes preserves originals separately from AI drafts. Document answers can include file/page references when retrieved passages support them; a citation does not guarantee the answer is correct. Optional cloud answers and connected accounts have separate network paths. The small local model is slower and less capable than frontier services, and AI/OCR can make mistakes. FOUNDER Jacob DeCamp is the founder of DeCampLabs and the designer/builder of PHNTM One. He owns the commercial product described here.
